Venezuelan Chief executive Hugo Chavez registered the official documents announcing his re-election bid Wednesday, as rooting crowd packed a plaza outside the selection authority head office in Venezuela's capital.
Wearing his signature red beret, Chavez rode into the crowd on top of a truck. He smiled generally and blew spirits.
State-run VTV revealed Chavez followers dressed in red tops, rooting as they waved ads and ads.
